Writing is my yoga practice

Sarah writes on a wide variety of topics – from parenting, to yoga,

deeply personal essays.

NOTE

from Sarah

Hi loves,
Writing is my yoga practice. It is a space where I can let everything I’m feeling and thinking pour out of me without judgment. I can be totally and utterly real. Writing is also a connecting tool as much of what comes through me isn’t just from my own experiences, but from the collective unconscious. When someone comments on a post or piece, “I feel seen” or “Yes!,” I am reminded that I am simply a conduit. And a lucky one at that!

Her strong writing always draws my appreciation

“Sarah’s articles for Yoga Journal are reader favorites. Sarah has a talent for tackling real situations that readers encounter and helping others feel seen while also offering practical advice. Her insights into both life and yoga come from her own experience as well as careful observation of her students, and she shares her thoroughly reported advice in her very caring yet say-it-like-it-is voice. I’ve worked with Sarah on her weekly column for some time now and her savvy article pitches, prompt responses, and sense of humor never fail to inspire my respect and her strong writing always draws my appreciation.”
